Press Release: One hundred children learn to manage waste

"clean up the river, do a favor and give food to the container." With this motto ANAPRI hundred children helped clean up a polluted river and learned how to manage waste during the two representations of the Storyteller "The entanglement of Carpitín" held on 24 and 25 October in Colmenar Viejo (Madrid).

Naturalist Association kestrel, ANAPRI, has brought together a hundred children between 4 and 8 years in municipal libraries in Colmenar Viejo to tell the story "The entanglement of Carpitín" and raise awareness of the importance of good waste management.

Joselín the Harlequin, the narrator of the story, and several characters such as the magpie Paca and the fish itself Carpitín explained to attendees the nature of the Regional Park of the Cuenca Alta del Manzanares, the problem of water pollution and various types of containers exist. Some essential issues for smaller raise awareness about the importance of respecting the environment and help reduce our carbon footprint. All this in a fun and participatory, since they were children themselves who helped the residents of the Park to clean up the river, singing the slogan "clean up the river, do a favor and give food to the container."

This activity closes the cycle of environmental education storytelling that began on 3 and 4 October with a performance of "The Peak fire" before more than 70 children. This work approached the smaller the problem of forest fires with an incident in Colmenar Viejo years. Both works are

ANAPRI developed by a nonprofit association founded in Colmenar Viejo to the conservation of nature, and which has as one of its goals of environmental education through children's storytelling.

Naturalist Association kestrel, ANAPRI, will represent the 24th and 25th October the story "The entanglement of Carpitín" in Colmenar Viejo libraries for children between 4 and 8 years.

"The entanglement of Carpitín" about nature by passing the smaller the problem of water pollution for life, and teaching children in a fun and participatory way, how to make waste management for optimal recycling.

The storytelling will take place on Friday 24 October at 18:00 hours in the library "Pablo Ruiz Picasso" and the sábado 25 a las 12:30 horas en la biblioteca municipal “Miguel de Cervantes”.

Esta actividad cierra el ciclo de cuentacuentos sobre educación ambiental que comenzó los días 3 y 4 de octubre con la representación de “El incendio de Pico” ante más de 70 niños. Esta obra acercó a los más pequeños el problema de los incendios forestales con un hecho ocurrido en Colmenar Viejo hace años.

Ambas obras están desarrolladas por ANAPRI, una asociación sin ánimo de lucro constituida en Colmenar Viejo para la conservación de la naturaleza, y que tiene como uno de sus objetivos la educación ambiental mediante cuentacuentos infantiles.

The two representations of the story "The fire of Pico" ANAPRI carried out by the two libraries met in Colmenar Viejo to more than 70 children between 4 and 8, 3 and 4 October. Harlequin

Joselín told the audience the dangers of fire for wildlife through the storyteller "The fire of Pico" . An interesting and educational history where, because of probable negligence, a fire, which burned trees die and animals are forced to flee their homes. The message is clear and the children not only understood it perfectly, but also took home a Montpellier maple seeds for planting.

Naturalist Association kestrel, ANAPRI, collect a past event of the municipality to educate children about the problem of forest fires, and bring the fauna and flora. To do so, with the participation of Paca magpie, fox Raposín, la Encina, juniper, Oak, Maple and a unique Montpellier Duende Joselín helped in the function.

ANAPRI continue with the representation of environmental storytelling the 24th and 25th October in local libraries "Pablo Ruiz Picasso" and "Miguel de Cervantes", respectively. Press Release: ANAPRI about nature with storytelling younger

Naturalist Association kestrel, ANAPRI, will play during the month of October a number of free storytelling environmental education in Colmenar Viejo libraries for children between 4 and 8 years.

The Storyteller "Peak Fire" will be performed on Friday 3 October at 17:30 hours in the library "Pablo Ruiz Picasso" and on Saturday 4th at 12:30 pm in the library "Miguel de Cervantes."

"Peak Fire" chronicles the relationship between flora and fauna, and that negatively affect forest fires, as exemplified by an incident years ago in the Pico de San Pedro.

The Storyteller "The entanglement of Carpitín" will take place on Friday 24 October at 17:30 hours in the library "Pablo Ruiz Picasso" and on Saturday the 25th 12:30 pm in the library "Miguel de Cervantes ".

"The entanglement of Carpitín" also brings nature to children. In this case, the issue is transmitted pollution of waters of life, and teaches children in a fun and participatory way, how to make waste management for optimal recycling.

Press Release: ANAPRI opens its successful activities participation

Naturalist Association kestrel, ANAPRI has conducted several ecological paths 7, 13 and 14 in Colmenar Viejo with great success participation. People of the town has gone well elsewhere in the Community, Soto del Real, Miraflores de la Sierra, Aravaca, Leganes and Madrid.

ANAPRI inaugurated its activities and has been released with some ecological trails along the banks of the Manzanares River as it passes through Colmenar Viejo. Three days have been interesting and very educational, which has involved people from different parts of the Community of Madrid and widely differing ages, highlighting the presence of children 3 years and adults over 70. In addition, several politicians in the municipality of the United Left group also participated in one of the days.

The paths have allowed to know the flora and fauna associated with this enclave, located in the Regional Park of the Cuenca Alta del Manzanares. José Antonio Matesanz The guide told the audience the particularities of place trees and shrubs. Stressing the typical vegetation of oak, as the very oak (Quercus ilex), junipers (Juniperus oxycedrus), Montpellier maple (Acer monspessulanum) cornicabra (Pistacea terebinthus) and daphne (Daphne gnidium) y del bosque de ribera, como el sauce salvifolio (Salix salviifolia) y el fresno (Fraxinus angustifolia), sin olvidar los omnipresentes rosales silvetres (Rosa canina), majuelos (Crataegus monojyna) y las zarzamoras (Rubus fructicosus). Por último, señalar la presencia de un único ejemplar de arraclán (Rhamus frangula), cuyo hábitat se localiza en regiones más norteñas.

En lo que a fauna se refiere, se pudieron observar reptiles como el lagarto ocelado (Lacerta lepida) o el galápago leproso (Mauremys leprosa); mamíferos como el zorro (Vulpes vulpes) y gran variedad de aves, resaltando las observaciones de especies en migración como la cigüeña negra (Ciconia nigra), el torcecuello (Jynx torquilla) y el abejaruco (Merops apiaster).
En definitiva, unas sendas ecológicas muy completas, donde los participantes pudieron acercarse de una manera sencilla al entorno colmenareño y conocer esta nueva asociación sin ánimo de lucro que pretende dar un impulso a la educación ambiental en la Comunidad de Madrid.

Press Release: ANAPRI organizes new free ecological trails 13 and 14

La Asociación Naturalista Primilla, ANAPRI, vuelve a celebrar el próximo fin de semana dos sendas ecológicas gratuitas para conocer la fauna y la flora de la ribera del río Manzanares, a su paso por la localidad madrileña de Colmenar Viejo.
These nature trails allow the observation of the birds with binoculars and telescope, and the knowledge of trees and shrubs there. Be held between 9 am and noon, are free and organized by ANAPRI. An environmental association nonprofit recently established in Colmenar Viejo, to give impetus to environmental education in the Community of Madrid.

Last weekend inaugurated the activities of this new ecological association with a distance of four kilometers long. During the walk there were several listening stations, identifying birds like Cetti (Cettia Cetti), Bee-eater (Merops apiaster), Lark (Lullula arborea) and Sardinian warbler (Sylvia melanocephala).

The path also included an explanation of the trees and shrubs, one of the most common and representative of oak, juniper (Juniperus oxicedrus).

ANAPRI Press Release August 2008: ANAPRI, the new partnership for the conservation of nature in Colmenar Viejo

Sendas ecológicas en septiembre

Un grupo de nature-loving people just be in Colmenar Viejo (Madrid) kestrel Naturalist Association, "ANAPRI." An organization created to preserve the environment in the Community of Madrid, in order to give impetus to environmental education and expand scientific knowledge about nature. Acronyms

ANAPRI correspond to "natural association kestrel" in tribute to the Lesser Kestrel (Falco naumanni), a small bird of prey endangered species listed in the Community of Madrid and of which we are honored to have meaningful breeding colony at the Basilica of the Assumption of Our Lady, Colmenar.

The first activity of the Association will develop during the month of September and will consist of various ecological trails free of Colmenar Viejo. 6 and 14, will tour for bird watching birds with binoculars and telescope, and on 7 and 13 will be a nature trail to learn about trees and shrubs there.

One of the main objectives is to give a boost to environmental education through storytelling, ecological trails, workshops and endless activities. The other pillar of this partnership is to conduct scientific studies. We want to deepen their knowledge of wildlife and flora of Colmenar Viejo and surrounding areas, for it will carry out surveys, construction of nest boxes for birds, scientific ringing and all those activities that help us achieve this.

Anyone can join, since the purpose is to form a group with similar environmental concerns and we can all share experiences and knowledge.
