People interested in poetry, both initial and a later stage. Also for amateurs and people who love to read poetry. Finally, students of philology and careers related to the topic.

Duration:

assistance 16 hours spread over two days a week and every day hard work of 2 hours.

Tuesday and Wednesday for four weeks.

El taller:

Este taller, dirigido a personas mayores de edad interesadas en la poesía, está dividido en dos partes: la técnica y la creativa.
En la parte técnica los alumnos aprenderán todo los términos y recursos básicos que debe conocer un poeta. Haremos un repaso que va desde las principales figuras literarias hasta la versificación clásica y su derivación hacia la moderna. Hablaremos sobre asuntos tan interesantes como los campos sensoriales, las características de la poesía, las cualidades del poeta, los valores the poem and the creation of it since the form of start up and close.

-Encouraging the imagination of students so that they can dig into their imagination and find topics to help them face the blank sheet.

Professor:


Rosa Silverio was born in the Dominican Republic for millennia. She is a writer since he was aware of itself. He studied Social Communication with a special mention in newspapers in the Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra in Santiago de los Caballeros, his hometown. At 17 he won his first literary contest that included a trip to Spain. He has won several awards por sus poemas y sus cuentos, que ya figuran en antologías traducidas a diversos idiomas (francés, italiano, inglés, portugués y catalán). En 2005 fue reconocida como la «Vencedora absoluta» del Premio Internacional Nosside, en el que participan escritores de diferentes lenguas y países. Fue la primera vez que un autor no europeo ganó este concurso. Ha publicado tres libros: «De vuelta a casa» (2002), «Desnuda» (2005), «Rosa íntima» (2007). A esto hay que incluir una «Selección Poética» que se editó con motivo de su participación en el recital «Voces de la diáspora», realizado en el Instituto Cultural de España en Madrid. Virginia Raquel Cabrera: (Santiago de los Caballeros, 1973). Obtuvo una Maestría en Escritura Creativa en Español de New York University (NYU) y actualmente continúa sus estudios de postgrado en Literatura y Cultura Española e Hispanoamericana en la sede de la misma universidad en Madrid. Su obra poética ha sido publicada en el poemario El vuelo de la locura (Ediciones El Salvaje Re nado, 2006) y en las antologías, Safo: Las más recientes poetas dominicanas (Ángeles de Fierro, 2004) and 00931 Basement: Number international anthology of Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico (Basement Publishers, 2009). Received a grant from the Northern Manhattan Arts Alliance (NoMAA) in 2009 for his next literary project.

Leonardo Nin : (Barahona, 1974) Poet, storyteller and composer Dominican. He resides in Boston. Doctoral studies in linguistics at Harvard University. His work has been collected in the collections of stories, Guazábara (Editorial Ciguapa, 2002) and the excommunicated Sacrileges (Imago Mundi, 2007) and in poetry: Paid Area as well as in numerous magazines and anthologies. In 2007 he was awarded the National Youth Abroad for his contribution to the dissemination of Dominican culture outside the island.

Rosa Silverio : (Santiago de los Caballeros in 1978) lives in Madrid. She is the author of several books of poetry, Back home (Editora Centenario, 2002), Desnuda (Editora Cole, 2005), y Rosa íntima (Editorial Santuario, 2008) y de poemas y cuentos que figuran en antologías y revistas culturales publicadas en varios países en distintos idiomas. Ha recibido distintos premios por su trabajo literario entre ellos se encuentra el prestigioso Premio Internacional de Poesía Nósside concedido por el Centro de Estudios Bosio en Reggio Calabria (Italia) in 2005.

Willy Ramirez : (Santo Domingo, 1985) BA in philosophy Fi. He is currently a graduate student at New York University in Madrid where he studied Hispanic literature and culture. His main intellectual interests are the philosophy Fi, Art, Literature, Performance and Theatre. Some of the themes of his poetry are love, death, time, life, and the contradictions of the man.

La Casa de Puerto Rico in Spain (CAPRE) bajo la dirección de Ramón-Darío Molinary ha declarado ganador por unanimidad al libro CAPÁ PRIETO, publicado en 2009 y del que es autora Yvonne Denis Rosario, profesora de la Universidad de Puerto Rico.

Se trata de una colección de cuentos bien elaborados que con rigor histórico se centra en la defensa de la raza negra en Puerto Rico, importante componente de su realidad racial, cultural, económica y social. Una negritud, la puertorriqueña, que por siglos y desde los albores de la colonization has been discriminated against and sometimes civil rights unprotected.

El premio, dotado con TRES MIL EUROS (3,000 euros) será entregado en Madrid el próximo otoño; en un acto público convocado al efecto por CAPRE y GIT.
