AMPA LOGO CONTEST - INFORMATION NOTE

The Board of the Association of Parents of Public School St. Felix of Candida seek a logo that identifies us and we are also keen to involve families this center in the life of the school. For these reasons we decided to call this contest.

The objective is to design a logo which will be the image representing the association at all necessary supports, such as letters, circulars, posters, stamps, blog, etc.

The contest is governed by the following bases:

BASES

• Participants:

open to all l @ s alumn @ s with their families, indeed, the contest is designed so that the logo design is made by the collaborative work of the whole family.

• Proposal :

The logo must be original and simple (not worth copying.) Drawings should be simple to use both black and white in color and should represent what that means families

AMPA may contain text (choice of the family) but it will give importance to the drawing.

• Material to be delivered:

The designs have to be drawn on a blank paper size DIN-A4 page or, at most, or DIN A-5 (page) minimum.

Each family may submit a maximum of three designs and is recommended to be accompanied by a brief explanation of the meaning of the work.

• Presentation of projects:

The delivery of the work will be until the last day of school before Christmas, that is, on Wednesday 22 December (inclusive).

Individual projects may be delivered to the school janitor, in the Association mailbox in the building available and identified as AMPA mailbox or any member of the board of the association . Entries should be submitted within a about where to enter the full name of the participants and course / s of students.

• Awards:

will award to students of the three finalists who will include educational games depending on the age of the students. These awards will be presented at the end of year party but the jury's decision will be announced throughout the month of January (the date will be implemented later in the blog)

• Jury:

• Aceptación de las bases:

La participación en el concurso lleva implícita la aceptación de estas bases así como el veredicto del jurado.

World Bird Day 2010 in the Sierra

El pasado sábado 2 de octubre, con motivo de la celebración del Día Mundial de las Aves, realizamos una excursión por el embalse de Guadalix de la Sierra (Madrid).
Habíamos quedado allí con el grupo de anillamiento científico de aves Álula, que estaban realizando una de sus habituales jornadas de anillamiento. El coordinador del grupo, Alfredo, explicó a los asistentes en qué consiste el anillamiento y el porqué de esta actividad.
En el rato que estuvimos con ellos, pudimos observar el anillamiento de diferentes especies como curruca capirotada (Sylvia atricapilla), mosquitero musical (Phylloscopus trochilus), carricero común (Acrocephalus scirpaceus), gorrión moruno (Passer hispaniolensis), CETI Mockingbird (Cettia Cetti) and a male Stonechat (Saxicola torquata).
