Dozens of unique creations out of QUILTS WORKSHOP / COLCHAS Saturday May 29 in San Augustine, Etla. Over 30 women from different cultures came together that day to create one or more pictures of a quilt to represent the collective voices of all participants and of all humanity. Each woman cut, sewn or embroidered their personal interpretation of the problem of corn, expressing concern not only for his family and his community, but also for the future of the entire planet and all who live in it.
was a dynamic experience with scraps of fabric and pieces of conversations flying in the air.
